LEGION BASEBALL: Lums drop two to Eugene Challengers

COEUR d’ALENE — Tanner Franklin hit a two-run double to score Travis Usdrowski and Kasen Noffke in the bottom of the sixth inning for Coeur d’Alene, which committed four errors in an 8-3 loss to the Eugene Challengers in the first game of a doubleheader on Tuesday at Thorco Field.
Aiden Hilber went 2 for 4 with three RBIs for Eugene.
Eugene (13-0) completed the sweep with a 16-2 win in the second game.
Andy Everson and Usdrowski had RBIs in the second game for Coeur d’Alene (8-10), which faces the Lewis-Clark Twins in the opening game of the Palouse Summer Series on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Harris Field in Lewiston.
