Rickert, Kim take home doubles crown at Mid-Columbia Summer Shootout

Madison Kim of Bothell, Wash., left, and Pepper Rickert, a rising junior at Sandpoint High, right, won the 18U girls doubles championship at the Level 5 Open: Mid-Columbia Summer Tennis Shootout held June 13 through June 15 at Kamiakin High. The pair went undefeated and didn't lose a single game, beating Lydia Knutson and Vivian Vargo of Richland (8-0) in the semifinals and Alexandra Prisecaru of Issaquah and Elliot Nolan of Spokane (8-0) in the championship match.
