BOZEMAN — Dillon Wink and Miles Arrowsmith drove in three runs each as the Kalispell A Lakers cruised to a 14-4 victory over the Northern Lakes Mountaineers at the Howard Rein Tournament Friday.

Tait Orme and Liam Rech picked up three hits each as the Lakers (20-15) scattered 13 hits total.

Orme got things started in the first inning with an RBI double to right field that scored Rech. Arrowsmith added another run on a single and an error allowed two more Lakers base runners to score to make it 4-0.

Arrowsmith made it 6-2 in the top of the second with a triple to center field that plated two.

With a 9-4 lead heading into the seventh, the Lakers added more insurance as a Wink triple brought home a pair and Rech singled to make it 12-4. Two more runs scored to make it a five-run frame and secure the win.

On the mound, Kalispell got a complete game performance from Jake Hale, allowing six hits and four runs (one earned).

Grant Allaway started for Northern Lakes (10-3) and went five innings, striking out three. Jake Larcher threw two innings in relief, also fanning three.

The Lakers continue at the tournament on Saturday with a pair of games. First, a 3 p.m. start against the Wood River Spurs and finally a matchup with the host Bozeman Bucks at 5:30.
