Kootenai Amateur Radio Society to host field day June 28-29

The Kootenai Amateur Radio Society's annual field day is scheduled 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 28-29 at 21977 N. Massif Road, Rathdrum.
The event sponsored by the American Radio Relay League replicates a countrywide emergency activation of local amateur radio resources that might assist in communicating locally and outside the immediate area.
Activities will include logging contacts on the computer or even talking on the radio under the supervision of experienced operators.
The KARS 2025 Amateur Radio Field Day will be on private property between Twin Lakes and Silverwood Theme Park.
