Sandra 'SanDee' Lynn Poland, 78

SanDee Poland, 78, of Osburn, Idaho, passed away June 9, 2025, at Hayden Place of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. She was born Feb. 24, 1947, in Odessa, Wash., to Harry and Loretta Fink. The family eventually settled in Athol, Idaho, where SanDee graduated from Lakeland High in 1965. 

She met her future husband at this time and married Daniel “Danny” Poland on July 15, 1965, in Coeur d’Alene. The couple soon moved to Pasco, Wash., where they raised their two daughters, Dawnette and Annette. After retirement, they decided to move back to North Idaho and settled in Osburn, Idaho.  

SanDee is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Loretta Fink; her daughter, Annette Poland; her brother, Byron Fink; and her sister, Sue Lenz. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Daniel “Danny” Poland of Osburn, Idaho; daughter Dawnette (Jamie) Lafayette of Indiana; sisters Sheryl McDaniel, Judy VanWinkle and Alexa McDaniel of Athol, Idaho, and Patty (Dan) Holmes of Pasco, Washington; her many grandchildren: Levi (Meagan) Fisher, Kendall (Audrey) Lafayette, Brady (Megan) Lafayette, Richard (Genisis) Renteria, and Kylee Renteria; great grandchildren Case and Lake Fisher, Aria and Mia Renteria, Rainan and Icean Renteria; and many nieces and nephews.
