TRACK AND FIELD: Coeur d'Alene, Charter athletes compete at Nike Outdoor Nationals

EUGENE, Ore. — Coeur d’Alene High graduate Max Cervi-Skinner, who has signed to run cross country and track and field at Wake Forest, finished sixth in the boys 3,000-meter championship race at the Nike Outdoor National track and field meet on Saturday at Hayward Field. 

Max Cervi-Skinner also finished ninth in the boys 5,000 meter championship in 14 minutes, 35.60 seconds, followed by rising Coeur d’Alene junior Wyatt Carr, who was 10th in 14:38.81. Zack Cervi-Skinner, who has also signed to run at Wake Forest, was 17th in the 5,000 in 14:53.07. 

Coeur d’Alene graduate Kyle Rohlinger was ninth in the 2K steeplechase in 6:10.18.  

Annabelle Carr, a rising senior at Coeur d’Alene Charter, was 13th in the girls 800 championship race in 2:10.54.
