LEGION BASEBALL: Prairie wraps up play at Omaha tourney

PAPILLION, Neb. — The Prairie Cardinals 17U team concluded play at the Pathway Omaha tournament with a 10-0 loss to MVP Baseball 2025 of Montecito, Calif., and a 7-6 loss to GoJo Baseball Club 18U of Greeley, Colo., on Monday, both at Papillion La Vista South High. 

In the first game, Prairie was held to two hits against MVP Baseball. 

Against GoJo, Isaiah Kearney and Logenn Storr had RBI singles in a six-run second inning for Prairie, which went 2-3-1 in the tourney. 

Prairie (11-8-1) returns to action Saturday with a class A North Idaho League doubleheader vs. St. Maries at noon at Post Falls High.
