Adams named to Kennesaw State's spring president's list
KENNESAW, Ga. — Vance Adams of Sandpoint has been named to the Kennesaw State University spring 2025 president's list.
Majoring in cybersecurity, Adams is among more than 6,100 undergraduate students recognized on the list.
To qualify, students must achieve a term grade point average of 4.0 while completing a minimum of nine credit hours.
LeTourneau University announces academic honors
LONGVIEW, Texas — A Boundary County student is among those named to the spring 2025 president's list at LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas. The president's list recognizes students who have achieved a perfect 4.0 grade point average for the semester to receive this honor.
Named to the list was Jonathan Geyman, an electrical and computer engineering major from Bonners Ferry.
LeTourneau University President Dr. Steven D. Mason said being named to the list is, indeed, a significant achievement and honor.
"As the comprehensive Christian polytechnic institution in the country, LeTourneau University attracts students who are among our nation's best," Mason said. "I'm especially impressed with these honor roll students, and I expect them to have a significant impact on our future."
LeTourneau University is located in Longview, Texas, 120 miles east of Dallas and 60 miles west of Shreveport, La.
Local resident graduates from William & Mary
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — Victoria Smith of Laclede recently graduated from the College of William & Mary with a bachelor's degree.
Founded by royal charter in 1693, William & Mary is the second oldest educational institution in the nation. During the past 300 years, the college has educated three U.S. presidents — Thomas Jefferson, James Monroe and John Tyler — numerous senators and members of congress and other national and international leaders.
William & Mary is currently ranked among the nation's top 10 public universities and has been designated a "Public Ivy."
