DEER PARK — Clark Fork's Asher Cramer struck out four batters across four solid innings on the mound as the Lakers fell to the North Stars on Wednesday in the opener of a Spokane American Legion "A" doubleheader at Deer Park High.

Cramer, Noah Langlois and Priest River High rising sophomore Karsen Garvin all tallied singles, Erik Hansen a double, in the contest for North Idaho, which kept things close until Tri-County erupted for eight runs in the fifth inning.

DEER PARK — Noah Langlois recorded two base knocks as the Lakers were defeated by the North Stars on Wednesday in the nightcap of a Spokane American Legion "A" doubleheader at Deer Park High.

Erik Hansen and Priest River High rising sophomore Karsen Garvin once again registered hits, as did Clark Fork's Arrow Cramer, who hit an RBI single in the first frame and struck out three batters across four innings in his start on the mound.

The North Idaho Lakers (4-7, 4-7) will return to action today at 5 p.m. at War Memorial Field for a league game against the Northeast 49ers of Chewelah.
