ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Darien Ratzlaff, Priest River Boys Wrestling

This week's Athlete of the Week is Darien Ratzlaff of Priest River Boys Wrestling.

A junior, wrestling at 215 pounds, Darien was the ninth-seed in the 3A State Championship bracket and ended up finishing third. After winning one of his two championship round matches by pin, he won four straight consolation matches, beating an opponent he lost to at districts by a 7-2 decision and then pinning the two-seed, the five-seed and the six-seed to clinch the bronze medal.
