COLUMBIA BASIN — Spring is finally here and there’s plenty to do. Live music, crafts, classes and more. Here are a few options: 


March 7-8, 10-11 


Clue: On Stage 


Get ready for an evening of mystery, comedy and theatrical brilliance as Moses Lake High School students bring the classic board game Clue to life on stage. 7 p.m. with 2 p.m. matinee Saturday at Moses Lake High School, 803 Sharon Ave. E. Info: 509-766-2666. 


March 8 


Concealed Carry Class 


This four-hour comprehensive training course is designed to educate individuals on the laws and regulations surrounding the carrying of concealed firearms. This class covers essential topics such as the use of force, firearms safety and the proper handling and storage of firearms, as well as the specific laws and any requirements for obtaining permits in Washington, Oregon and Arizona. Upon completion of the class, attendees will be eligible to apply for the above-mentioned permits and will also receive a WA — HB-1143 Gun Safety Certificate. Cost is $74.99. Backyard Beekeeping Basics Class 


Discover the world of beekeeping and support your local ecosystem. This hands-on workshop will cover the essentials of beekeeping, including bee basics, hive setup, bee care and honey harvesting. Youth Outdoors Unlimited Auction Banquet 


Enjoy a night of fun raffle games, food, a live auction and a one-of-a-kind presentation of our youth adventures. Warden STEM Fair 


Engage with talented students showcasing their innovative projects, share your own experiences and insights in the STEM field, and network with like-minded professionals and future leaders in STEM. This is an opportunity to foster collaboration between industry and education, inspire the next generation, and expand your professional network. 4-7 p.m. at Warden High School, 101 W. Beck Way. Ephrata Community Resource Forum 


The Ephrata Community Resource Forum brings together diverse stakeholders with an aim toward coordinating efforts and strengthening partnerships in addressing community needs. Beautiful Brushes Art Club 


Whether watercolor, acrylic, oil or mixed medium, bring your supplies for five weeks of collaborative painting. Each week attendees will learn from a different regional artist, including Don Nutt, Danna DalPorto, Sasha S. Fair, Kim Bacon and one more surprise guest. Light snacks are included. Comedy night with Phillip Kopczynski 


Born and raised in the mountains of eastern Washington, Phillip Kopczynski started comedy at age 11 doing pratfalls to make his Down Syndrome sister laugh. Always pulling from life experiences and poorly-thought-out opinions, Phillip's animated storytelling pulls in audiences for an eccentric good time. March 13 


Open House 


The public is invited to visit Crestview Christian School and Brite Beginnings Learning Center, tour the facility and meet the staff. There will be prizes for children and a drawing for an Amazon gift card. 6-7:30 p.m. at 1601 W. Valley Road, Moses Lake. Info: 509-765-4632. 


March 14 


H.E. Gritman Senior Center Fundraising Breakfast  


Enjoy a homemade breakfast of pancakes and sausage or biscuits and gravy and sausage. Cost is $7 and all ages are welcome. Takeout orders for $8 accepted during breakfast hours. ‘Patricia Jensen: A Road Less Traveled’ 


Opening reception for exhibit by Moses Lake artist Patricia Jensen, showcasing a lifetime of artistic work. Jensen’s work can also be seen in the murals at Sinkiuse Square and other locations around Moses Lake. Exhibit runs through May 2. 4-7 p.m.  


Daddy-Daughter Dance 


Enjoy a special night of dancing, dinner, and memories with your daughter. Dinner options include spaghetti/salad/bread or chicken tenders/fries/carrots, and a specialty drink or soda and dessert. March 15 


Lucky Finds Market 


Discover handmade goods from talented local artisans and stock up on fresh-baked treats and farm-fresh produce at the Moses Lake Farmers Market’s Lucky Find Market. Dream It Be It Career Conference for Girls 


Free one-day event for local high school girls. This conference helps girls grow up to be strong, successful, happy adults. Join professional women role models for career education and the resources to live your dreams. Attendees have the chance to win prizes, including 10 laptop computers.
