Wilson Creek track and field to compete in two tournaments

WILSON CREEK – Wilson Creek track and field will be competing in two tournaments in both the boys and girls categories this year. 

Last year, Wilson Creek had one student make it to the finals. Freshman Landon McMillan raced in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 45.33 seconds, which earned him sixth place. 

Boys Track    

March 18 @ Cascade Christian Academy with seven others 3:30 p.m.  

May 6 @ Bridgeport High School with 11 others 3:30 p.m.  

Girls Track   

March 18 @ Connell High School with six others 3:30 p.m.  

May 6 @ Bridgeport High School with 11 others 3:30 p.m.

CHENEY – Eastern fell in straight sets to Sacramento State on Wednesday night, according to a statement from EWU athletics. The Eagles were led by Kalista Lukovich and Alyssa Radke with seven kills apiece, while Elle Bruegman anchored the defense with 14 digs. Eastern also continued to showcase one of its season-long strengths at the net, out-blocking the Hornets 9–3 with seven solo blocks.
