Legislative town hall set for Saturday

SANDPOINT — The last of a series of three town hall meetings will be held Saturday by District 1 legislators to share the issues of the day and hear from constituents.

The meetings will kick off at 9:30 a.m. in Bonners Ferry, followed by a noon meeting in Sandpoint and capped by a 2:30 p.m. meeting in Priest River.

The Bonners Ferry meeting will be held at the Bonners Ferry Visitors Center; the Sandpoint meeting will be held at the Sandpoint Veterans of Foreign Wars hall, corner of Pine and Division; and the meeting in Priest River will be held at Priest River City Hall.

If you can’t get there in person, KRFY Community Radio will be broadcasting it live at 88.5 FM, or streaming at KRFY.org.

Representing District 1 are Jim Woodward, Idaho State senator; Mark Sauter, District 1A House of Representatives; and Cornel Rasor, District 1B House of Representatives. Both Sauter and Woodward have announced plans to attend.
