Pop-up poetry tonight at Emerge

Community members are invited to "tell a story, get a poem" with Coeur d'Alene's first poet laureate, Jennifer Passaro, from 5 to 8 tonight at Emerge, 119 N. Second St., Coeur d'Alene.

This free pop-up poetry event encourages people to share stories with Passaro, who will listen and craft unique pieces of poetry based on the tales told. Regarding the stories, the sky is the limit — participants are welcome to share whatever stories they wish.

The event will be held during Second Friday ArtWalk. Donations will be accepted for Emerge, a nonprofit art collective.
