As more retirees explore opportunities to return to the workforce, a collaborative group of local organizations is launching the Reimagining Retirement Series — a three-part event designed to help retirees and seniors navigate employment options that align with their skills, interests, and lifestyles.

Coordinated by the Retiree Workforce Group, which includes Job Service Kalispell, My Glacier Village, Flathead Valley Community College, Discover Kalispell Chamber as part of the WorkForce Flathead initiative, this series offers valuable insights and resources for retirees looking to reenter the workforce on their terms.

“This series is about empowering retirees with the knowledge and tools they need to find work that fits their interests and circumstances,” said Jenn Cronk, workforce and special initiatives director for the Kalispell chamber.

The retiree workforce brunch on March 19 at 10 a.m. kicks off the series with a free brunch where retirees can connect with employers and learn about job opportunities suited to their experience and lifestyle. The event is at First Presbyterian Church, 540 Main Street, Kalispell. Register at: shorturl.at/8m86W or call 406-250-8784

On March 26, the employment workshop provides hands-on guidance on updating résumés, completing online applications, and navigating today’s job market. The event is from 1-2 p.m. at the Job Service Kalispell, 427 1st Ave East, Kalispell. Register at: forms.office.com/g/1C1j0pZV51

Then on April 2, Sherrie Patterson of Essential Development & Coaching, will hold “Back to Work – On Your Terms” exploring motivations for returning to work, determining how work fits best into your life, goals and needs. The event is at 11 a.m. at Kalispell Chamber, 2 South Main Street, Ste 205, Kalispell. Register at shorturl.at/8ew22 or call 406-758-2801
