Mary Etta White of Rose Lake, Idaho passed away Feb. 16, 2025, in Mesa, Ariz., after a brief illness. Mary Etta was born Feb. 24, 1935, in Cheney, Wash., to Albert and Adna Calvert.

She married Jesse A. White in June 1951. Mary Etta had nine children — Michael, Daniel, Rebecca, Douglas, Tami, Jess, Cristie, Heather and Anthony.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse, brothers Richard and William and sister Myrtle, daughters Tami Calkins and Heather Davis, sons-in-law Gene Ward and Jeff Calkins, daughter-in-law Sharon Cramer and great-grandson Wyatt Blalack.

Survivors include sons Michael (Connie), Daniel, Douglas (Takako), Jess, Anthony (Michele), daughters Rebecca Ward, Cristie (Reese) Blalack and son-in-law Everett Davis, 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and three great, great-grandchildren.
