Youth track

Signups for Little Cat Tracks are underway.

Little Cat Tracks is an independent program run by the Wildcat Track Club.

Little Cat Tracks was created to interest younger kids in track, and teach some preliminary skills. The Wildcat Track Club also looks at this as an opportunity for high school track athletes to improve their skills through coaching.

The program is open for youths from grades 1-6.

Practices are Wednesdays 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the junior high track the month of April with the track meet on May 7. (The track meet will start at 4:30 and runs until 6 p.m.).

Cost to register is $40 and includes a shirt, insurance and track supplies. Siblings are $30.

Free meals

Columbia Falls Community Kitchen will be serving free hot meals on March 30 and 31 at 6 p.m. in the basement of St. Richard’s Catholic Church.
