Acclaimed California rock band Dawes brings their unique blend of soulful harmonies and thought-provoking lyrics to Kalispell April 25 at the Wachholz College Center.

For the first time in almost a decade, brothers Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith grace the cover of a Dawes record. It’s just the two of them this time and the tour marks a new chapter for the band — one that is both introspective and accessible, all while maintaining their beloved sense of sincerity and reputation for having a distinctive sound that combines clever, situational rhymes with raw emotional depth.

Across its heartfelt, sometimes silly and sometimes serious songs filled with sing-along choruses, deeply felt poetic lyrics, and sterling musicianship of their latest album of the same name, “Oh Brother,” highlights the band’s independence. The tour will showcase tracks from the 2024 album, while still offering drawing from the band's rich and extensive discography.

Dawes is a band that can move seamlessly between folk rock, piano ballads and sprawling jams while maintaining both an immediately recognizable sound and a freedom from expectations, according to a press release. Even as the brothers navigate new chapters in their personal and professional lives, Oh Brother shows how they remain creative, ambitious and inspired.

The band recently had the honor of opening the 2025 Grammy Awards, backed by John Legend, Brad Paisley, Sheryl Crow, Brittany Howard, and St. Vincent with a powerful performance of Randy Newman's “I Love L.A.” in honor of the wildfire recovery efforts.

Ticket prices range from $44 to $71.50, which includes ticket service fees and may be purchased online at wccmt.org, or by calling the ticket office at 756-1400.

The Wachholz College Center is located at 795 Grandview Dr.
