The sawmill of the Bonners Ferry Lumber Company started sawing for the 1925 season on Monday morning. For the present, the mill will operate only one shift, but as soon as high water makes sufficient logs available, another shift will be added.
A small quantity of ore was shipped from the Cynide Gold Mining Company here Tuesday to the Bunker Hill and Sullivan smelter at Kellogg. It was sent as a test shipment to determine the percentage of values recovered.
A St. Patrick's Day dance was given at the Myers and Strom Hall Tuesday night by the ladies at St. Ann's Catholic Church. It was attended by a large crowd who appreciated the efforts to show them a good time.
