Rhonda 'Roni' Wiebe, 72
Daily Inter-Lake | UPDATED 4 weeks AGO
A beautiful soul and wonderful person crossed that rainbow bridge and into the heavens on March 21, 2025. Roni Wiebe, 72, was introduced to the world on Oct. 2, 1952, at the old Sisters Hospital on Kalispell’s east side; being personally delivered to the world by Dr Robert Benke. She was the daughter of Ruth and Eddie Geddes and the younger sister of Steve Geddes. She was educated in Kalispell and graduated from Flathead High School in 1971.
She was a barrel of fun and enjoyed life to the max. She liked to call herself a goody-goody with a dirty mind. She married Jim Hassler and together the family was formed with three kids, Lisa Kay, Stacie Joel, and Dustin James. She and Jim later divorced but remained friends until Jim’s passing in 2002. In 1992 she met Don Wiebe, and they were married in 1995. They had a good life together and recently celebrated their 30th anniversary. Roni was quite the car person and could often be seen at car shows around town. Her first car was a 1969 Road Runner—now that is cool. Anyone that knew her in any capacity absolutely loved her sense of humor and wit and outgoing personality.
She was preceded in passing by her parents, Ruth and Eddie, and her beloved son, Dusty.
She is survived by her loving husband, Don, her brother, Steve and wife, Kathy, her children, Lisa (Rick), Stacie (Monte), and Keri. As well as Daniel (Heather) and Aaron (Shawna), and Miranda H., John D., and Billy L. She will always be loved by grandchildren, Steffani, Brayden, Kedryn, Jacob, Tyler, Kaleigh and Randa Roo as well as Skyanne, Isaah, another Jacob, Zoe, and Kendra as well as great-granddaughter, Scottie and many nieces and nephews.
She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
The candle of her life may have burned out, but the glow of her charm and grace, love and kindness will live forever.
A remembrance and celebration of her precious life will be held at a later date.
