Richard Egge, 85, passed away March 13, 2025, in Othello, Wash. He was the youngest of 10 children born to John and Thelma (Swenson) Egge. He was born on Feb. 24, 1940, in Williston, N.D., and grew up in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. He earned a college degree and taught for 33 years in Othello, Wash. He married Janice (Jan) Albright on June 29, 1968, in Minnesota.

He is survived by his wife, Jan, married for 56 years, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and all nine of his siblings, brothers: George, Glenn, Eugene (“Gene”) and Jule; sisters: Eleanor (“Dolly” Soiseth), Arlene (Olsen), Delores (“Doris” Van Dyke), Bernice (O’Neill) and Mildred (“Millie” Pasquale).
