After 23 years at Mugsy’s Tavern & Grill, the Bonners Ferry Rotary Club is moving its meetings to the Kootenai River Inn due to changes and growth.

Tuesday, April 1, 2025, will be the last meeting at Mugsy’s and the Rotary Club invites those interested to join them as they close the first chapter of their club and prepare for the transition.

The first meeting at the Kootenai River Inn will be Tuesday, April 15, at 12 p.m.

“The new venue will allow us to realize the vision of the new Rotary Action Plan by ending the talking head at the front of the room and by creating an interactive experience where everyone feels involved, heard and appreciated.” Sandy Johnstone, Bonners Ferry Rotary Club president said. “We will focus on enhancing our public image — and we will flourish with the guest is best philosophy, creating an atmosphere that is welcoming, vibrant, exciting and fun.”
