The urgent need of a fire truck in Bonners Ferry was set forth at considerable length at the Monday night meeting of the Kootenai Valley Commercial Club at the Manx Cafe. It was stated that the installation of a fire truck would reduce insurance rates from 15 to 25 cents on $100 in the business section.
Articles of incorporation for the Moyie Springs Fur Company were filed with the County Auditor yesterday, the incorporators being A.J. Kent, Alan DeWolf, and Roy Buck. The company has 12 pairs of registered silver foxes and plans are now underway to equip 200 acres near Moyie Station, on the Spokane International Railway, for raising foxes and other fur-bearing animals.
The annual Patron's Day for the public schools of Bonners Ferry will this year be held on Friday, April 3.

Randy Day, 24, a Bonners Ferry resident who will graduate from the University of Idaho Law School in May is to be the next prosecutor, interning under James Paulsen, after he passes the bar exam in July.
The new state building code will apply to Boundary County.
The 1974 Badger football team was named "North Idaho Football Team of the Year" at the annual Idaho Sports Banquet last Saturday night.
Jim Evans of Bonners Ferry left Monday for Italy to race with the Kawasaki Motorcycle factory team.
