The North Idaho College Music Department will present the Spring Choral Concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Boswell Hall Schuler Performing Arts Center on NIC’s Coeur d’Alene campus.
The concert is free and open to the public.
The NIC Chamber Singers will open the show with Claudio Monteverdi’s "Cantata Domino" followed by “Ubi Caritas” by Ola Gjello, featuring accompanist Andy Ingersoll.
The Cardinal Chorale, NIC Chamber Singers and Canto de Sorensen, a choir representing Sorensen Magnet School of the Arts and Humanities, will perform John Rutter’s “Mass of the Children” under the direction of NIC assistant professor of music Cindy Dicken. The choirs will be joined by soloists Malinda Wagstaff-Metro, Scott Dicken and accompanist Marietta Hardy.
“It’s going to be a really beautiful evening of choral music,” Cindy Dicken said. “I’m so proud of the work that these choirs have put into this gorgeous music.”
