Ray Bradley of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, passed away April 17, 2025, with his loving wife, Barbara, and family members, Rachel and Nick, comforting him as his spirit departed to the embrace of our Heavenly Father.

Ray was born to proud parents Kenneth and Muriel (Brew) Bradley on July 13, 1946, in Spokane, Wash., and attended North Central High School and Eastern Washington University, earning a degree in accounting. Ray met his soulmate, Barbara, and they married in Saint Aloysius Church on Aug. 23, 1969.

Ray and Barb launched their accounting firm, R.R. Bradley and Associates, in Coeur d’Alene in 1974. Ray was a member of Coeur d’Alene Rotary. He founded the Bradley Scholarship Fund to enable high school students aging out of foster care a financial boost toward post-secondary education. He also served on the board of the Kootenai Health Foundation. Ray’s most admired trait was his kindness toward others. He worshipped at St. Pius Church.

The couple enjoyed ocean cruises with friends and spending winters in Hawaii. Mostly, Ray just loved holding a steering wheel with the wind in his hair and Barb at his side.

Survivors celebrating Ray’s life include his spouse, Barbara (still comingled with Ray’s spirit); brother-in-law Nick (Jennie); nieces Rachel (Mike) and Isabella; Rachel’s treasured mother, Stacey; close cousins Doug (Barb) and Peter (PC); and many other cousins and second cousins in the States and in England.

In gratitude for Ray’s life and to continue his legacy of kindness, in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Bradley Scholarship Fund at the Idaho Community Foundation (210 W. State St., Boise, ID 83702).

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at St. Pius X Catholic Church (625 E. Haycraft Ave. Coeur d’Alene, ID 83815). The graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Holy Cross Cemetery (7200 N. Wall St., Spokane, WA 99208).
