High school forward Jefferson signs with Zags
SPOKANE — Gonzaga men's basketball coach Mark Few announced the signing of Parker Jefferson, a 6-foot-10, 230-pound forward.
Jefferson, a Texas native, played his senior season at Inglewood (Calif.) High, where he averaged 16.3 points and 11.2 rebounds per game. He shot 53 percent from the field. He also blocked 2.1 shots per outing.
Jefferson had five 30-plus-point games, 17 double-doubles and one triple-double, and was named to the Ocean League 2025 All-First Team.
Jefferson is from the Dallas suburb of Waxahachie and attended Waxhachie High, where he averaged 16.7 points and 9.5 rebounds as a junior before transferring to Inglewood.
"When my recruitment first started, all I was hearing was ‘You’re a Gonzaga type of guy.’ Now that I finally got to get to campus and meet the staff, I knew right away this is where I belong," Jefferson told On3’s Joe Tipton.
On Friday, Gonzaga announced the signing of Adam Miller, an Arizona State transfer who will have one year of eligibility remaining.
