One injured in three-vehicle collision on SR 17

MOSES LAKE – A three-vehicle collision occurred on State Route 17 about five miles north of Moses Lake at around 9 p.m. Monday, according to the Washington State Patrol.
All three vehicles were northbound on SR 17. Vehicle one, driven by Jose Vasquez, 36, Ephrata, attempted to stop for a disabled vehicle that was still partially in the roadway. Vehicle two, driven by Jorge Solis, 58, Othello, slowed to a stop for vehicle one. Vehicle three, driven by Ana Sochirca, 39, Moses Lake, collided with vehicle two, resulting in vehicle two striking vehicle one.
Sochirca suffered minor injuries but was not transported to a medical facility. Both vehicle two and vehicle three were towed from the scene. Vehicle one suffered damage but was able to be driven away from the scene.
It is unclear if any of the drivers will face charges in the incident.
The Washington State Patrol was contacted for comment and did not answer in time for press.
