The Timberwolves’ senior lefty pitched 6.2 innings — one strike from a complete game — on Saturday as Lake City beat Coeur d’Alene 7-4 to win the 6A District 1 baseball title. “He pitched a stellar game on Saturday, to give Lake City our third straight district title,” Lake City coach Mike Criswell said. “He’s a great teammate; every coach wishes for a kid like Kyle. He’s not only pitching well, but he’s the heart of our lineup. He’s stealthy fast on the bases too.”
