Douglas Cameron, 70

Douglas Leonard Cameron, 70, born Oct. 19, 1954, in Clay Center, Kan., to Leonard and Charlene Cameron, passed away in Spokane, Wash., on May 6, 2025, going home to Jesus.

There will be a celebration of life with immediate family.

He is survived by his beautiful wife, Patty Cameron; and two sons, Jason and Jeremy Cameron; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Kelly Cameron; and a sister, Sherri Cameron.

Doug and Patty were married for nearly 41 years, raised their family in Sagle, Idaho. He worked as a heavy machine operator, helping to run telephone utilities across the whole Northwest and later loved building Kodiak airplanes for Quest Aircraft.

He was known for working hard, making tools to get the job done, a love for westerns and Harley Davidson and, most of all, making everyone one around him laugh.

Doug loved his family dearly and will be missed.
