Negotiations and Overcoming Conflict seminars
Northwest Montana Association of Realtors presents three courses with instructor Michael Walker on May 13 that focus on negotiations and overcoming conflict with clients. Located at the NMAR office, 2282 U.S. 93 S, Suite B, Kalispell. The first class, “Negotiation Pregame,” runs 9 a.m. to noon. UNWIND
The Kalispell Chamber of Commerce holds its UNWIND on May 13 at 5 p.m. at the KM Building, located on the 2nd Floor at 50 2nd Street East, Kalispell. The event is hosted by a different chamber member each month giving the business the opportunity to highlight itself and attendees to network with other business professionals.
Networking event for women
“Let’s Be Bold,” taking place May 14, is a quarterly networking event for local businesswomen to chat and share expertise. It’s an informal, bring-your-own-lunch event where businesswomen get together. The event starts at 11:45 a.m. at Hucks Place, 129 Central Ave., Whitefish.
Lemonade Day Flathead University
A fun-filled educational hour on May 15 where kids in grades kindergarten through second can learn the basics of having their first business for Lemonade Day or any other day. Kids will learn about naming their business, making a logo, creating a lemonade recipe, customer service, making a budget, and operating their stand. The Whitefish Chamber of Commerce holds its Gone Fishin’ event on May 15 at 5 p.m. at the Whitefish Pilot, 312 2nd St., Whitefish.
