Tami Lyn (Vervalen) Mayville, 50, lost her hard-fought battle with cancer on Oct. 29, 2024, only days after her 50th birthday. She fought so hard over the last year, right up to the end.

She was born on Oct. 24, 1974, spending her early years in Kalispell and later relocating to Spokane, Washington, for a few years. She spent her most recent years living in Salt Lake City and felt she had been destined to move there.

Tami is survived by her husband, David; children, Jess, Desiree, Dusty Jo and her husband Ian, Athena and her husband Brian, Dennis, Simone and Connor; her grandchildren, Serenitie May, Felicity, Dylan, Jayce, Travis and Aurora; mother, Judy; siblings, Mike, Jody and her husband Shane, Sherri and her husband John and their families; as well as numerous people that have become more family, than friends over the years.

Tami was such a special person and had a loving soul. She made incredible connections with everyone she interacted with. She earned a degree in criminal psychology from FVCC and loved unraveling cold case files. She loved crocheting and adventures. She enjoyed exploring new places and planned on seeing all of the amazing things in this world before she was taken too soon.

Her passing leaves a void in this world that cannot be filled.
