Sandpoint Strikers tryouts next week

The Sandpoint Soccer Association will be holding tryouts for their Sandpoint Strikers club teams starting next week.

Tryouts for girls will be held Tuesday, May 20, and for boys Wednesday, May 21, both at The Field of Dreams in Ponderay. 8-and-under to 11-and-under teams, which encompasses birth years from 2015 to 2018, will hold tryouts from 4 to 5 p.m. 12-and-under to 15-and-under teams, which encompasses birth years from 2011 to 2014, will hold tryouts from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. There is no fee associated with the tryouts.

The Sandpoint Strikers club teams have both a fall and spring season. The fall season runs from Aug. 15 to Oct. 31 while the spring season runs from March 15 to June 1.
