An evening of storytelling with David Sedaris

Tickets are on sale now to see famed author and humorist David Sedaris on Nov. 12 for an evening of storytelling at the Wachholz College Center.
Known for his signature sardonic wit, keen observation and deeply personal insight, Sedaris is the author of multiple New York Times bestsellers including “Me Talk Pretty One Day,” “Calypso,” and “Happy-Go-Lucky,” which debuted at No. 1 and won the 2023 Audie Award. His work regularly appears in “The New Yorker” and has been featured in “The Best American Essays” annual anthology. Sedaris’s acclaimed collections range from personal essays, short stories and bestselling diaries. His latest book, “Pretty Ugly,” a children’s title illustrated by Ian Falconer — was released in February 2024 to critical acclaim, earning a starred review from Kirkus.
Sedaris has been nominated for five Grammy Awards for Best Spoken Word and Best Comedy Album. His audio recordings include “David Sedaris: Live for Your Listening Pleasure” and “David Sedaris Live at Carnegie Hall.” A feature film adaptation of his story “C.O.G.” was released after premiering at the Sundance Film Festival. In 2019, Sedaris became a regular contributor to CBS’ “Sunday Morning,” and his Masterclass, David Sedaris Teaches Storytelling and Humor, was released.
The evening starts at 7 p.m. The Wachholz College Center is located at 795 Grandview Dr., Kalispell.
