County land division workshop May 20

SANDPOINT — The Bonner County Planning Commission will host a public workshop May 20 at 4:30 p.m. to discuss county land division code standards.  

The commission will review land division standards under Bonner County Revised Code, specifically related to family divisions, waiver of land divisions and minor land divisions. The workshop is an opportunity for community members to understand how the land division process works and any future changes to the code that may occur.  

The workshop is directly tied to the moratorium that was approved May 6, which will go into effect May 19. County commissioners passed the moratorium to address infrastructure, emergency access and consistency in how the code is interpreted.  

Community members interested in learning more about the land division process are encouraged to attend. Public input is welcome.
