BUHL — Eli Blackmore finished out his high school golf career on a high note.

The Bonners Ferry High senior shot a 5-over-par 77 on day one and 12-over-par 84 on day two to grab a sixth-place medal at the 4A State Championship held Monday and Tuesday at the Clear Lake Country Club.

For the girls, sophomore Nollie Hiatt and senior Sydney Hinthorn led the Lady Badgers to a sixth-place team finish. Hiatt, who was 15th overall, shot rounds of 113 and 102 while Hinthorn, who was 16th, carded rounds of 114 and 103 as the two both improved by 11 strokes from their first to second day totals.

Callie Bateman fired in rounds of 115 and 117 and Elleanor Sheets rounds of 138 and 127 to help Bonners Ferry clip McCall-Donnelly by 25 strokes.
