Hannah Davidson, Utah State University Track & Field

A 2018 graduate of Sandpoint High, Hannah broke the Aggies' 1500-meter school record at the Mountain West Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships, which were held Thursday, May 15, through Saturday, May 17, in Clovis, Calif. On day two of the competition, the former 4A (now 5A) state medalist in multiple events ran to a time of 4:23.72 in the preliminary round, a new personal best by over three-and-a-half seconds. The old Utah State record was 4:23.99, which was set in 2018 by Tylee Skinner, a West Jefferson High graduate (Terreton, Idaho). The historic run earned her an automatic bid to the finals, in which she placed 10th with a time of 4:30.30.

All-in-all, Davidson competed in four other meets during her final season at Utah State. She placed seventh out of 55 in the 800-meter run (2:10.82) at the Azusa Pacific University Franson Last Chance meet... first out of 13 in the 1500-meter run (4:32.60) at the Aggie Invitational hosted by USU... 13th out of 163 in the 1500-meter run (4:27.33) at the Bryan Clay Invitational hosted by Azusa Pacific University... and fifth out of 25 in the 800-meter run (2:15.56) at the Utah Spring Classic hosted by Utah University.
