Christopher Ryan Jeffreys, 45, of Post Falls, Idaho, passed away unexpectedly May 10, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, loyalty and quiet strength. Born on Feb. 21, 1980, in Denver, Colo., Chris graduated from Golden High School in 1998 and later earned a bachelor’s degree in network security — a field in which he thrived. For the past 17 years, Chris worked for SolarWinds, where his dedication and technical expertise earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues.

On Jan. 27, 2007, Chris married Melissa, the love of his life. Together, they built a home filled with laughter and warmth in Post Falls, where they raised two beloved children, Abigail and Parker. Chris was a devoted husband and a hands-on, loving father who treasured every moment with his family.

A die-hard sports fan, Chris was a proud fan of the Colorado Avalanche and Denver Broncos. He was a longtime season ticket holder for the Spokane Chiefs, cherishing the time spent at games with family and friends. Summers were often spent at Priest Lake, where Chris found joy in helping his in-laws build their dream cabin, always ready with a tool in hand and a smile on his face.

Chris had a kind, gentle spirit and was always willing to lend a hand. His loyalty, humility and quiet humor made him someone people naturally turned to. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Melissa; his daughter, Abigail; his son, Parker; his mother, Cindy (Larry) McDonald; his father, Jerry (Cheryl) Jeffreys; his brother, Travis Jeffreys; his grandmother, Gwen; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A celebration of Chris’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Chris by spending time with your loved ones, cheering for your favorite team or lending a helping hand to someone in need — just as he would have done.
