Kathy 'Johnson' Hartman, 74

Kathy Lee “Johnson” Hartman, born March 12, 1951, passed away peacefully sleeping in her bed, in the early morning of May 10, 2025.

She is mourned by her four sons, Jeffrey, Micheal (who preceded her in death), James and Anthony; her nine grandkids; her brothers and sisters; and her many friends. 

Kathy had the gift for gab and so, made many friends throughout her life. She grew up in Illinois, moved to San Diego, Calif., then lived throughout Nevada before settling in North Idaho for years. She went back home to Illinois later in life and then to be with her sister in Alabama in her final days. 

Our family is so thankful for all the time, memories and lessons she taught us, but most importantly, Kathy was always Kathy. If you knew her, you know what that means and we are so grateful. Rest in peace, Mom. 

A memorial service to be held Sunday, June 1, from 1 to 3 p.m. at 456 Jones Ave., Priest River, Idaho, 83856.
