Kelly Douglas Holcomb, 78

Kelly Douglas Holcomb,78, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, passed away April 21, 2025, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. He was born Jan. 15, 1947, in St. Louis, Miss., the son of Calvin and Lilyan (Harrison) Holcomb.

He enlisted in the U.S. Army National Guard in San Jose, Calif., and was honorably discharged. He returned to California and served as a Police Officer until retiring. He was a distinguished Policeman and was honored for Heroism in the line of duty.

Kelly is survived by his wife of 38 years, Mary Lou Jarman. He is also survived by an adoptive son, John Ward of Rathdrum; two adoptive grandchildren, Tyler Ward of Post Falls and Jordan Kirby; one nephew, Bill Engle of St. Louis; and two nieces, Nancy Evers and Betsy DeYong, both of St. Louis, as well as many great-nieces and nephews.
