Peterson qualifies for Idaho State Rodeo Finals

Alicia Peterson of Sandpoint, right, and Lauren Rook of Hayden, left, both qualified for Idaho High School Rodeo Association State Finals, set to be held Saturday, June 7 through Saturday, June 14 at the Bannock Event Center in Pocatello. The two both qualified in barrel racing and pole bending for their performances at the IHSRA District 3 Championships held Friday, May 16 in Cambridge, Idaho. Peterson, who attends Forrest Bird Charter, placed first out of 19 in barrel racing and third out of 17 in pole bending.
