Boundary County voters elected JoAnne Cady May 20 to be the next Zone 2 library board trustee.

Cady won by a narrow margin over Jacque Tanner, with 368 votes to Tanner's 294. The Moyie precinct carried the vote, accounting for 75% of all votes in the race for the vacancy in the Boundary County Library Board.

Cady will be taking the seat of Wendy McClintock, who stepped down from the position with the library board in February.
