Michael Paul Veselik, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away peacefully April 27, 2025, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, surrounded by family. He was 72.
Born in Portland, Ore., Michael grew up in Estacada, where he excelled in sports at Estacada High School. He attended Clackamas Community College and built a successful career in banking with The CIT Group and U.S. Bank, known for his integrity and dedication.
Michael loved the outdoors — boating, camping, and working around the house — and had a passion for restoring classic cars. His big, bubbly personality made him the life of every gathering, and his warmth and laughter left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Millie; his children, Michael (Juliane), Matthew (Karly) and Kristian (Christy); his grandchildren, Hudson, Kennedy, AnaSophia, Mason and Shaylee; and his sister, Karen. He was preceded in death by his brother, Barry.
Michael’s legacy of love, joy and kindness lives on in the hearts of his family and friends.
