ALL-LEAGUE SOFTBALL: Stevens sisters receive honors

ALL-LEAGUE: Marlee Stevens

A freshman left-handed pitcher, Marlee tossed a team-high 82.2 innings in her first year of varsity action with the Lady Bulldogs, which included six complete games and a team-high 73 strikeouts. She had a season-high nine strikeouts in a complete game against Bonners Ferry on April 15 ... struck out eight batters in a complete game against Moscow on May 6 and seven batters over five innings against Lakeland on May 8 — both of which were district tournament games. She helped herself out at the plate as well, putting up a .317 batting average and recording 19 hits, 11 RBI, seven runs scored and two doubles. She had a season-high four hits against Moscow on May 6 ... a tied for season-high two RBI against Lakeland on March 25 and against Caldwell on March 21 ... and a season-high three runs scored against Lewiston on April 26.

ALL-LEAGUE: Arah Stevens

A junior catcher and third baseman, Arah recorded a team-high .388 batting average to go along with a team-high 26 hits, 21 RBI, 13 runs scored, eight doubles, a triple, and two home runs in her first year of varsity action with the Lady Bulldogs. She had a tied for season-high three hits against Bonners Ferry on April 15, against Moscow on April 22 and against Post Falls on May 1 ... a tied for season-high three RBI against Post Falls on May 1 and against Moscow on April 19 ... a tied for season-high two runs scored against Caldwell on May 21 and against Bonners Ferry on April 15 ... had two doubles in games against Bonners Ferry on April 15 and against Moscow on April 22 ... home runs in games against Lewiston on March 18 and against Lake City on April 8.
