Mavs finish state tournament run

RICHLAND – The Moses Lake Mavericks finished their run in the 4A state tournament Friday afternoon. They were the number 14 seed in the bracket. 

The Mavericks' first game of the day was against Issaquah with the opponent coming out on top 1-12. This loss put the Mavs into the consolation bracket, where the girls played a close game against Tahoma. The Tahoma Bears came out on top in the bottom of the seventh to win 3-4.
