Dick Davies, 75, passed away March 6, 2025, from complications of Parkinson's disease.
He is survived by his wife, Cookie, "Carol," of 49 years; brother, Parker Davies and wife Carla; nieces Carolyn and Catherine and many cousins.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Parker and Doris Davies.
Dick was fascinated with the natural world and the science and meaning of life. He was dedicated to his 40-year career on the Flathead National Forest. The Parkinson's progressed and Dick retired from the Swan Lake Ranger District as fire management officer in 2006.
All are invited to a memorial service for Dick at 11 a.m. on June 21, 2025, at the Bigfork Community Cemetery on Swan River Road. A luncheon and reception will follow at the Swan River Community Hall on Hwy 83.
Dick will be forever remembered and missed.
