Quintet named as Women of Wisdom

The Women Honoring Women committee is thrilled to announce the selection of the 2025 Women of Wisdom: Sherry Fulton, Nancy Hadley, Susan Howard, Linda Navarre, and Terri Palmer.
These five extraordinary women were selected as Women of Wisdom in recognition of their commitment to the community, their leadership and service, and for serving as role models to future generations. Family and friends, previous Women of Wisdom, and community members to attend next month's gala brunch to the outstanding women.
The event will take place on June 14 at the Marigold Bistro in the Umqua Bank Building, 414 Church St., Sandpoint. It begins at 11 a.m. Tickets must be purchased in advance as seating is limited. The brunch includes great food and beverages, and a special program honoring the 2025 Women of Wisdom. All are invited to attend and help WHW honor these extraordinary women, all the past Women of Wisdom, and the 2025 Women Honoring Women scholarship recipients.
Women Honoring Women is an organization committed to recognizing Bonner County women who have contributed to the betterment of the community through their service and leadership. The organization has recognized over 140 women since its inception in 1999.
To be nominated as a Woman of Wisdom, candidates must be 65 years or older. The committee looks for women with vision, who achieve goals through collaboration, who love to learn, and who are committed to serving our community. She demonstrates dedicated leadership that results in admiration and respect from others. She is an inspiration to others and an example for future generations of women. She faces life’s challenges with grace and courage, and lives with dignity, integrity, and honor. Thank you to everyone who submitted a nomination letter. The fact that there are so many exceptional women in our community makes the selection process difficult.
