ALL-LEAGUE SOFTBALL: Leitch, Hansen garner honors

ALL-LEAGUE: Hannah Leitch

A senior right-handed pitcher and second baseman, Hannah recorded a team-high 38.1 innings and 31 strikeouts in the circle this season for the Lady Spartans. She pitched a season-high six innings coupled with a season-high eight strikeouts against Bonners Ferry on April 23. At the plate, she registered five hits, six RBI, seven runs scored and two stolen bases across 43 plate appearances. Over her three-year varsity career, she tallied 39 strikeouts over 48.2 innings of work on the rubber and six hits, seven RBI, 16 runs scored and four stolen bases across 67 plate appearances.

ALL-LEAGUE: Rylie Hansen

A senior utility player who was primarily positioned at catcher, Rylie produced a .321 batting average and a .472 on-base percentage to go along with nine hits, including two doubles, eight runs scored, seven RBI and seven stolen bases this season across 36 plate appearances. She had a season-high two hits against Kellogg on April 14... a tied for season-high two RBI against Lakeland JV on March 25 and against Kellogg on April 14... and a season-high three runs scored against Kellogg on April 14. Over her four-year career at the varsity level, she compiled a .264 batting average and a .432 on-base percentage to go along with 24 hits, including six doubles, two triples and two home runs, 28 RBI, 32 runs scored and 22 stolen bases across 118 plate appearances.
