Troy, coming off its first state tournament appearance, placed Leslie Gravier on the All-State B/C softball team released this week.

Gravier, a senior, played shortstop and pitched for the Lady Trojans, who went 19-9; she was voted first-team all-Western B/C by the league coaches, and all first-team picks are in turn All-State selections.

Keith Haggerty, who has guided the softball program for 10 seasons, was named Coach of the Year for the Western B/C.

Eleven players were named All-State, including senior catcher and pitcher Sara Koskela of Thompson Falls. The Blue Hawks went 14-13-1 and made it to the state tournament.

Mission-Arlee-Charlo, which went 21-8 and finished fourth at state, had three players named All-State: outfielders GG Hawk and Maia Christopher and pitcher Jada Domebo.

Florence, which advanced to the championship and lost to unbeaten Shepherd to finish 27-4, had five All-State selections.
