Leisa Rene Ulvan, 73

Leisa Ulvan (formerly Leisa Hutchison), a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, whose warmth and dedication touched countless lives, passed away Oct. 25, 2025, at Hospice of North Idaho in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. She was 73 years old.

After graduating from Coeur d’Alene High School in 1970, Leisa embarked on a career as a flight attendant with American Airlines. In 1980, she joined Alaska Airlines, serving routes throughout the Northwest, Mexico and Alaska.

Leisa's true joy was found in her family. In 1981, she married Gary Ulvan, her steadfast partner of 44 years, and together they built a life filled with love and laughter in Coeur d'Alene. A devoted mother to her daughter, Anne Knoll, Leisa cherished every moment with her family, especially her grandson, Alex Knoll. Her home was a haven of hospitality, where friends and neighbors were blessed by her renowned cooking and stories of her adventures in the air.

Leisa is survived by her loving husband, Gary Ulvan; her daughter, Anne Knoll; her son-in-law, Brian Knoll; and her grandson, Alex Knoll.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of North Idaho (2290 W. Prairie Ave., Coeur d'Alene, ID 83815) in Leisa’s memory.

Leisa soared through life with elegance and compassion, leaving a legacy of love that will forever uplift those who knew her.
