Munday, a sophomore setter from Post Falls High, was named West Coast Conference Setter of the Week for the third time this season after totaling 62 assists (10.33 assists per set), 17 digs, 11 kills, six aces and five blocks — one solo — as San Diego swept San Francisco and Loyola Marymount last weekend. Munday had 28 assists, nine digs, four blocks (one solo), four kills and two aces against the visiting Dons before racking up 34 assists, eight digs, seven kills, four aces and a block against at Loyola Marymount on Saturday.

Montana women's basketball

Waddington, a 6-foot-3 sophomore guard from Lake City High, scored 12 of her team-high 20 points in the first quarter for the Grizzlies in an 81-44 win over Seattle Pacific on Tuesday in Missoula, Mont. Her 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting were one off her career high. She also grabbed a team-high eight rebounds. "We talked before the game about being relentless, aggressive, getting downhill, being so intense your mom would be scared with how hard you're playing," Montana coach Nate Harris said. "I thought she took that to heart and did some really good things offensively, especially early."

Daigle, a sophomore midfielder from Coeur d'Alene Charter Academy, scored her first career goal for the Division III Falcons (6-6-5, 2-4-1 WIAC) in a 2-0 win over visiting Wisconsin-River Falls on Saturday in Oshkosh, Wis.

Utah cross country

Peters, a junior from Post Falls High, finished 16th in the Big 12 Championships in 19 minutes, 59.4 seconds last Friday at Rim Rock Farm on the campus of the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kan. Utah will compete in the NCAA Mountain Regional on Nov. 14 at the Regional Athletic Complex in Salt Lake City.

UC Santa Barbara women's basketball

Burke, a 5-foot-8 senior guard from Coeur d'Alene High, had seven points, three rebounds and two blocked shots for the Gauchos (1-0) in a win over Cal State Monterrey Bay on Monday in Isla Vista, Calif. UC Santa Barbara plays at No. 3 UCLA today at 11:30 a.m. (BTN+).

Northwest Nazarene women's basketball

Nichols, a 5-foot-5 senior guard from Post Falls High, scored a game-high 23 points for the Nighthawks of Nampa in a 70-65 exhibition win over College of Idaho on Oct. 24.
